Bam! I'm 63.
First she shows people everywhere that a 63-year-old woman can still rock a bikini like nobody's business and now the Acadamy Award winner openly discusses her love for the yeyo.
"I loved coke. I never did a lot, just a little bit at parties," Mirren said in a recent interview with British GQ.
But here's the kicker and what makes her so cool: she quit riding the rails not because of the catastrophic effects of long-term addicition or because she wanted to live cleaner. She quit because she found out coke funded Nazis. Yeah, those Nazis.
"But what ended it for me was when they caught (Nazi war criminal) Klaus Barbie, the Butcher of Lyon, in the early 80s. He was hiding in South America and living off the proceeds of being a cocaine baron.
"And I read that in the paper, and all the cards fell into place, and I saw how my little sniff of cocaine at a party had an absolute direct route to this ... horrible man in South America," she said.
Mirren also mentioned that she used to steal during her young, poor days and that's she's still frugal because of it, but who cares? The lady who played The Queen just admitted to quitting The King's Habit because the Nazis were getting paid. Awesome.
