Welcome to a job interview where creepiness is rewarded. It’s audition time for Kansas City’s haunted houses in the West Bottoms, including the Beast, Edge of Hell, Chambers of Poe and Macabre Cinema. Adrenaline-spiking, terror- and scream-yielding behavior is part of the job description.

So perfect your best howl or scare tactic, and bring it to the auditions.

When: 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday

Where: The Beast, 1401 W. 13th St.

Requirements: Must be 16 or older with a valid driver’s license and another form of identification.
