Volume Maker, $48: A brush-on powder that releases with the click of a button. First swipe the brush precisely where you need volume, starting at the roots. Next massage the product into your hair and back-comb for extra oomph.
Ample Angora, $38: Volumizing light foam that offers flexible control and protection against styling tools — apply to dry or damp hair.
Extreme Urushi Timeless Finish and Lacquering Sap, $45: Strong holding gel with high shine, made with Japanese cedar and maple tree extracts. Apply to damp or dry hair.
Muroto Volume Shampoo and Conditioner, $48-$58: Good for fine hair, created with Depsea water and magnesium to plump up hair fibers.
Fiber Lift, $38: Protective volumizer that also adds shine. Apply a dime-size amount to damp hair before blow-drying.
