Upscale, locally owned boutique is closing in Leawood

Nearly five years after opening in Leawood’s Town Center Crossing, Feng boutique is shutting its doors.

The shop sells exclusive women’s fashions and accessories, ecletic home decor and one-of-a kind gifts. Brands include Vince, DVF, Joe’s Jeans, J Brand, Sam Edelman and Kendra Scott.

Owner Beth Zollars orginally opened Feng in 2006 in Overland Park’s Hawthorne Plaza, just across Roe from Town Center Crossing. She relocated to 4553 W. 119th St., in Town Center Crossing, in 2012.

She couldn’t be reached for comment Friday but posted the closing on the shop’s Facebook page: “I have been fortunate to have had my own retail boutique Feng, for the last 12 years. It has afforded me a rich experience in KC allowing me to create a really cool brand, dress some amazing ladies, but mostly it’s about the relationships created.”

Feng will have a close-out sale starting Oct. 1. It plans to start selling store fixtures and furnishings starting Oct. 15 and close its doors by Nov. 1.
